Peter is employed by ART Marine to manage Ghantoot Marina as part of their portfolio of marinas and is responsible for the operation and smooth running of this privately owned marina. Managing his own company in the U.K. has enabled him to step into his new role as marina manager with confidence and he is dedicated to serving the needs of their clients. He has a varied marine background. Over the past thirty years he has enjoyed being a keen racing yachtsman in several sailing clubs, holds an R.Y.A. Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate and is also a qualified senior R.Y.A. Powerboat Instructor.

Bruno  Meier
General Manager - ART Marine Marinas Division (Ghantoot Marina Management company)

Bruno Meier, is the General Manager of ART Marine’s Marina Division; before, he was the Director of Marine Operations, and was responsible for the group’s yacht charter, water sports and marina development in the Middle East. Bruno studied Biology and also graduated from the Faculty of Economy and Social Sciences at Geneva University. He started his career in 1986 as captain on charter yachts and, in 1992, he became General Manager of Sunsail International in Turkey and managed a fleet of 120 charter yachts, a 200-vessel boatyard, and 5 holiday resorts specialized in water sports. In 2001, Bruno joined Camper & Nicholson as General Manager of Port Gocek, one of the most prestigious marinas in the Mediterranean, and in 2003 he joined the famous marina resort of Port Bodrum as General Manager. Bruno lives and works in the UAE since January 2006 and was initially recruited by Island Global Yachting to become Regional Operation Manager. Bruno has in-depth experience in yacht charter, fleet management, water sports, boatyard operations, marina management and waterfront development, and is a Certified Marina Manager. Bruno is also a skilled scuba diver and sailor; he launched many regatta and nautical events in the East Mediterranean and was Commodore of several Yacht Clubs.

Wael Bittar
General Manager Marketing - ART Marine

Wael Bittar, General Manager Marketing, joined ART Marine in October 2008. A passionate marketer and brand development specialist, Wael has over 18 years hands-on marketing experience in the Middle East, developed many brands in the region in various sectors such as FMCG, banking, luxury goods, cars and holding companies. Prior to joining ART Marine, Wael spent 10 years in Middle East Communication Network (MCN) Saudi Arabia as the Deputy Country Manager of MCN, Deputy Managing Director of Fortune Promoseven, and General Manager of Weber Shandwick PR Company. Wael holds a bachelor degree in science and has received various marketing awards.

Farrokh Golchin
General Manager
Ghantoot Marina - A division of CMS L.L.C. (Abu Dhabi)

Farrokh Golchin is the General Manager of Charterbay Marine Services (CMS) LLC, an Abu Dhabi based company which was established in 2009 as a holding company for the task of developing and operating the Ghantoot Marina as well as developing parallel business lines in order to maximise opportunities that arise in the GCC marine industry.

Farrokh was the Marketing Manager for Marine Queensland and oversaw the growth of Brisbane Boat Show and Tinnie and Tackle Show before moving to Dubai in late 2007. In UAE, he established the Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain Boat Shows as well as managed a diversified leisure marine business involved in marina management and consultancy, marine parts sales and distribution, boat licensing and marine publications.
